I create functional cooking, dinnerware and serving vessels as well as vases, caricature animals and whimsy pieces. The excellent inspirational potters I have met along the way have unwittingly melded a part of their style into details of my vessels--finished foot, curled handle detail, method, line or color. I strive to make a quality piece that is simple of form but exciting in its balance, texture and design while complementing other art forms with which it is arranged. It is important to me to make every aspect of the vessel bring satisfaction to its owner.

It is most meaningful for me to see my pots utilized in day to day tasks. My wares lend a sense of comfort and warmth to a family meal and through repetitive use become traditions.
